Solid Design vs. MagicSwap™ Insert System

This listing is for my original SOLID soap holder design, NOT my newer MagicSwap™ Insert System.  I designed this Solid Version years ago.  I'm uploading because some still want the file.

I developed my MagicSwap™ Insert System as a more efficient alternative to traditional solid decorative soap holders.

While both designs create beautiful finished products, there are important differences in printing time, filament usage, and support requirements.

🍪 SOLID SOAP HOLDER DESIGN – THIS LISTING

• Requires support material during printing.

• Uses more filament due to the larger, integrated structure.

• Requires additional printing time.

• Most prints take approximately 4–5+ hours, depending on printer settings, filament changes, and support requirements.

• The decorative character and soap holder are part of one complete design.

• The decorative design is not interchangeable.

✨ MAGICSWAP™ INSERT SYSTEM – SOLD SEPARATELY

• Designed for faster, more efficient printing.

• Individual MagicSwap™ Inserts typically print in a little over one hour with my printing setup.

• Uses significantly less filament for the decorative insert.

• Reduces overall printing time and material costs when changing designs.

• Allows you to reuse the same compatible Base Holder.

• Easily change seasonal decorations without printing an entirely new soap holder.

Why did I create MagicSwap™?

After designing and printing traditional solid soap holders, I wanted to create a more efficient and affordable way to enjoy seasonal 3D-printed decorations.

The result was my MagicSwap™ Insert System!

Instead of printing an entirely new soap holder every time you want a different design, MagicSwap™ allows you to print a smaller decorative insert and reuse your existing compatible base.

This saves printing time, reduces filament consumption, and makes changing your decorations easier!

Please Note: The approximately one-hour MagicSwap™ printing time refers to the decorative insert only. The reusable Base Holder is printed separately.

Both systems offer beautiful finished designs. The best choice depends on whether you prefer a complete solid structure or a faster, interchangeable decorating system.

• Actual printing times and material consumption will vary.

These files are designed for compatible Bath & Body Works foaming soap bottles. Soap bottles are not included.
