Inspired by a fearless, warmhearted snowman from a snowy kingdom, this layered design combines rich jewel tones with beautiful dimensional details for a fun fairytale-inspired print from the Magnetic Ear Collection.

You’ll find plenty of headband ear designs available, but many feature a simple, flat surface. I take the extra time to individually layer the elements in my newer designs, creating dimension, detail, and that beautiful raised 3D appearance when printed.

The Arendelle Collection was created using this newer layered design style. Instead of simply placing an image onto the surface of the ear, the individual design elements are built into layers to give the finished print more depth and character.

I also design my newer ears with a thicker, sturdier construction to help reduce the chance of breaking. I put the extra design time into each set because I want the finished ears to feel special and different from the typical headband ears you see everywhere else.

🧲 Magnetic Headband Tips

I recommend keeping a + and – magnet applicator on hand when assembling your Magnetic Ears. The applicator files are included with the download for convenience, and I personally print mine in PETG.

• Use the + applicator, loaded with a magnet, for the magnet holes in the ears.
• Use the – applicator, loaded with a magnet, for the magnet holes in the headband.
• Keeping the polarity consistent is important so every set of interchangeable ears works with the same headband.
• Be cautious about resizing the headband. Changing its dimensions can distort the magnet holes and make the magnets difficult to insert.

The compatible headband and magnet applicator files are also included for convenience at no additional charge. These are not my original designs and are provided free by their original creator.

🎨 Filament Colors Used in This Design

This is a multi-color design and can be printed using an AMS. Colors can also be reassigned or combined in Bambu Studio if you would like to reduce the number of filament changes.
